The faculty is composed of exceptional education practitioners and experts who will ensure your working understanding of techniques, strategies, scholarly research, and evidence-based materials and methodologies. A highlight of the program is the completion of an action research capstone course that assesses your knowledge in the areas of instructional strategies, methodologies, curriculum development, educational technology, behavior management, and assessment, all within the context of exceptional student education.
Courses are delivered in classroom, hybrid, and online formats to provide you with the flexibility and convenience you need to meet the other demands of life.

Graduates of the MSESE program typically find employment as exceptional education teachers in primary, elementary, middle, secondary, alternative, and charter schools and in hospitals, nonprofit agencies, and other specialized centers.
